The One Truth That Changes Everything About Your Existence
Many seek evidence of God's existence through philosophy, science, or personal experience. But one reality stands above all: life itself points to the presence of God. From the smallest cell to the vast cosmos, the intricate movement of creation reveals a divine hand.
Science and Scripture Agree: Life Requires a Life-Giver
Science tells us that nothing moves unless acted upon by an external force (Newton’s First Law). A rolling stone, the pull of gravity, even the rotation of planets—none occur by chance. Motion requires power, and power originates from a source.
This aligns with Acts 17:28 – "For in him we live and move and have our being." The very breath in our lungs is sustained by Him.
Another undeniable truth: nothing causes itself. A book cannot write itself. A building cannot construct itself. Life itself must come from a source greater than life.
As John 1:3-4 declares: "Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
Design Points to a Designer
Look at the stars—each moving in precise patterns, never colliding randomly. The Earth orbits in perfect balance, sustaining life. This is no accident. An arrow does not fly without an archer.
The same principle applies to your own life. You are not here by chance. Your purpose is not random. God, the Creator and Sustainer, directs your path, even when you do not see it.
Psalm 19:1 affirms: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."
What This Means for You as a Christian Professional
Many seek success, meaning, and fulfillment in their work. But true purpose begins with recognizing who sustains you. If God is the Giver of Life, then:
Your abilities are a gift, not just personal achievement.
Your success is not self-made but guided by His hand.
Your challenges are not random obstacles but opportunities for faith.
The key to lasting impact in both career and life is not self-reliance but surrender. As Colossians 1:17 states: "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."
Live With the Confidence That Comes From Knowing Your Source
A life built on self-sufficiency is fragile. But when you root yourself in the One who gives and sustains all things, you move forward with purpose, resilience, and faith.
The next time you question your direction, look around—at the stars, the tides, even the breath in your lungs. They all point to one truth: God is the Giver of Life.
