The answer lies in renewing our minds. The mind is the control center of our intellect and emotions. To achieve transformation, we must change our thinking. This concept is rooted in the scripture that says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Our faith and faith praxis plays a crucial role in this process, enhancing our mind, body, soul, and spirit.

But mind renewal alone isn’t enough. We have to learn —→ how<—- to actually renew the mind. We often overlook the importance of coaching. The Bible, if we read it conceptually, teaches us that experienced individuals should guide and teach the inexperienced ones. This principle applies to all areas of life. Whether it’s a spiritual mentor, a professional coach, or an informal advisor, having someone to provide accountability and guidance is essential. Exponentially better if it’s someone that’s done it before.

In my own journey, almost every significant achievement was made possible through coaching. From professional milestones to spiritual growth, having a coach provided the support and accountability I needed. Even top CEOs and successful entrepreneurs continue to seek coaching, knowing they don’t have all the answers.

As believers, we sometimes rely solely on prayer and scripture, expecting divine guidance without seeking human help. However, God’s divine order includes the wisdom of experienced mentors and coaches. So, if you’re looking to transform your life, don’t hesitate to seek out a coach.
