Foods That Make Your Brain Strong
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2 (KJV)
We often talk about spiritual mind transformation, but not physical.
But there is some value in healthy eating and snacking, so that the mind can focus and make better decisions. Some people are suffering spiritually, because physically they eat junk, and a lot of it! They cant control their thought processes and regulate their emotions because they have too much bad stuff entering their physical bodies through their mouths. (Let alone what enters their eyes and ears)
There isn’t one magic food that can keep your brain sharp as you get older, but eating a healthy diet can help! Nutritionists say it's important to eat lots of fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains. Try to get your protein from plants and fish, and choose healthy fats like olive oil instead of unhealthy ones.
Want to keep your brain healthy and sharp? Eating the right foods can help! Here’s a list of some brain-boosting foods you should try:
- Leafy Greens: Spinach, kale, and broccoli are not just good for your body, but also your brain! They’re full of vitamins that help your brain stay strong.
- Fish: Eating fish like salmon and tuna gives your brain a special type of fat called omega-3s. These fats help keep your brain working well. Try to eat fish a couple of times a week. If you don’t like fish, walnuts and flaxseeds are good substitutes!
- Berries: Love strawberries or blueberries? Good news—they’re great for your brain! These berries can help your memory and make it easier to remember things.
- Tea and Coffee: A cup of healthy tea or coffee in the morning can help you focus better and even improve your memory!
- Walnuts: These tasty nuts are not just good for your heart but also for your brain. Eating walnuts can help you think more clearly.
Eating these foods regularly can help your brain stay in top shape!
"Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual." 1 Corinthians 15:46 (KJV)
God LITERALLY put stuff on our planet to help us use the physical dimension to enhance the spiritual. Pair this with exercise, helping others, learning something new, and community; these are powerful potent ways to fix your mind.
